John
Pierce - Senior Pastor
Pastor John Pierce began his
role as Senior Pastor of Salem First Friends Church on July 1, 2005.
John has served at FFC as Associate of Family Ministries/Worship
for 4 years, coming from Kansas as a youth pastor along with his
wife, Joni, sons Jordan and Joshua, and daughter Julia.
Pastor John received his Bachelors degree
in Theology/Religion from Barclay College of Haviland, KS., Masters
degree in Family Ministries from Friends University of Wichita,
Ks., and recently graduated from Liberty University with a 2nd Masters
degree in Theology/Religion.
Pastor John has been in the ministry for
over 10 years and was recorded as a minister of the Gospel in 1998
with Mid America Conference of Evangelical Friends covering Kansas,
Oklahoma, and Texas. He is now also recorded in EFC-ER. |
Pete Fowler - Associate & Youth Pastor
Pastor Pete began leading our
youth in September, 2000. Before that, he interned as a youth pastor
at Beloit Friends Church and worked at Camp Gideon in the summers.
He has been working in youth ministry since 1997. He graduated Malone
College in Canton, Ohio in December 2001 with a degree in Social Studies
Secondary Education. Pastor Pete started as our Associate Pastor July
1, 2005 and continues to lead our youth.
He has been married to his wife, Mandy, since June 2000. Pete and
Mandy have one daughter (Rachel), and one son (Nathan). |

Joni Pierce - Christian Ed. Director
Joni began serving as the CE Director on July
1st, 2007. While volunteering in the Children's Ministry department
for the last 6 years, she finished her Bachelor's degree (in Bible/Theology
with a minor in Education) at Liberty University in May of 2006.
Joni is looking forward to continually engaging the families of
FFC in a total and fulfilling education of the Word of God while
creating a fun atmosphere at the same time!
She and John were married in September of 1991 and have been doing
ministry together since 1994. Joni enjoys being a mom to her three
active children, ministering alongside her husband, as well as building
Christ's Kingdom, one person at a time.

Bonnie Conser - Visitation
Bonnie
joined our staff in her new role in July of 2007. Bonnie fills a vital
part of our staff with her focus on visitation and follow-up. Before
working in this capacity, she worked as our CE Director for 10 years.
She is married to her husband (Don). All their children
are out of the home now, but they gladly spend time having their grandchildren
in their home. |
